In this episode we talk to Spencer Crandall. He is a Country Music Artist with a huge following and he’s unsigned. (not for long in my opinion) He learned to play guitar his senior year in high school, went to college to play football and learn of course. That’s where everything changed, Spencer suffered two career ending shoulder injuries, from there he started playing an writing his own music, moved to Nashville and hasn’t looked back!

Story recap:
Grew up in a broken home. Mom was an alcoholic and dad was emotionally/physically abusive. Was always the skinny kid at school and got picked on because of it. Started to workout at that time but never knew what I was doing and wasn’t consistent. Never really fit in so hung out with the bad crowd because they accepted me. Started using drugs and alcohol at 15 and began to get arrested at that time. In and out of juvenile hall, boys’ homes, jail, and prison. At 22 was sentenced to 10 years in prison. Began to workout and read a lot developing my body and my mind. Wanted to change but didn’t know how. Learned to change physiologically but not psychologically. Went to fire camp and finally felt like I was making some changes in the world. Mom died and I lost all hope to live and went down hill fast. Eventually got sick and tired of being sick and tired and took the steps to correct my life. Reached out to my first coach and began to do all that he did and work on myself from the inside out. Now a little over 2 years out and I have an amazing job as an OTF coach and have recently built up a successful fitness business. I love what I do and I’m having a blast helping others become the best versions of themselves.
