There are many things that only God can do, yet there are a few things in scripture that He very clearly tells us to do. He lays a personal responsibly on each of us to take a step of faith and show ourselves a bride that loves her groom enough to prepare herself for His coming. Today we take a look at these personal responsibilities in scripture that no one else can do for us and ask God for the grace to tend to them with all due diligence.

Our life of faith is a journey.  Yes there is a starting point and there is a destination, and a preparation for that destination! Therefore, there is a process that God takes us through as we progress in that preparation. Things that might seem pointless, do have a purpose far beyond our imagining, because the journey will take us far beyond our seeing or current comprehension. Season change, but His faithfulness remains the same. keep trusting. Keep going.

Grabbing hold of the reality that we have been given the opportunity to partake in Christ's rewards in eternity. That what Christ did and is still doing, we can be rewarded for, if we allow Him to abide in our heart and use our lives to continue His work!

A look at one of the most needed, most overlooked, and most rewarding callings mentioned in scripture.

Scripture gives us instructions for evangelism, prayer, prophecy, and all manner of ministry. It is good to look at the advise that scripture gives us so that we can be as effective as possible as we lean on God's great wisdom and not our own ability or understanding.

A look in scripture at the life of Jesus and the Apostles to see what ministry really looks like. The importance of the individual assignments and of seeing them through to completion. It is interesting what Jesus consider to be the success of His earthly ministry.

A prayer to be more like our Jesus. More humble, more faithful, more selfless, more focused, more attentive, more passionate, more compassionate, more like Jesus.

Continuing from our previous message where we looked more at the purpose of purification that the Holy Spirit came to lead us through, today we look a little father into the process by which He does it and what we have to gain by enduring it in faith!

A look at the purpose and process of receiving and being lead by the Holy Spirit according to scripture. What to expect and why...

A look at Israel's past to see patterns for the future. The God that steers history is the God of scripture, not the God of our imagination, or our own creation. God will not do what we want Him too, He will do what He said He will do. It's up to us to seek out that truth, believe it, and align ourselves with our proper place in it. So let's see what He is saying to us through the history of Zachariah chapter 7, because it is a very sobering message.
