It's been One Week since our last episode. This week we continue to showcase some Canadian films and performers. With Michael McGowan 2008 film ONE WEEK. Come along for this road trip to the Canadian West with us.

Were kicking off a month of Can Con (CanCan if your Scott), and we figured to the best way to that is to actually talking with a creator.

On this week's show we're talking 90s popcorn extravaganza Twister with Ontario director Reese Eveneshen (For the Sake of Victorious, Defective)

Tune in to hear him talking about what drew him to Twister as a kid, and the ups and downs of being an indie director in Canada.

Welcome to our mojo, dojo casa house.

Obviously on this week's show were not talking the man in black but the woman (and world) in pink; Barbie.

If you checked out our first entry into the Barbeiheimer world, then you know that obviously Kris loved Nolans 70mm print of Oppenheimer, I mean of course he did; he's a big nerd.  The bigger question is; what kind of ranting and raving will he have for Greta Gerwig's pink plastic fever dream?

On this week's episode Kris and Scott go to the movies, as in together which doesn't actually happen that often.  The two took a trip to one of the few 70mm IMAX theaters in Canada (there are six) to see Christopher Nolan's dark character study of the man who would become the "father of the atomic bomb".

Did they like it? Will you? Did they Barbiheimer?

Tune in to find out.

From the title of this week's show (a nod to the formerly Canadian Tim Hortons franchise) you know the Can Con (or CANCAN if your Scott)  is going to be deep and delicious like a poutine drenched in maple syrup listening to Celine Dion.

The BlackBerry movie was shot in Canada by a bunch of guys from Canada (Matt Johnson, Matthew Miller and DOP: Jared Raap) with help from the Canadian taxpayer about the Canadian company Research in Motion (RIM) that invented one of the first smartphones; the BlackBerry.  So much Canada your going to need a Labatt's 50 to wash it down eh, yea hoser

On this week's show were talking A Man Called OTTO, a remake of the Swedish film A Man Called Ove. Tom Hanks plays a loveable old man who is sweet like swedish berries. Actually that's bs, the character of Otto is a prick, kinda like a certain podcast co-host.

Also this film has a bunch of Mr. Gump's family in it , so tune in for clues to the game of nepo baby.

If a bear does blow in a forest, and he doesn't ravage a bunch of people; did it really happen? Cocaine Bear being based on a true event is a real stretch, like when your trying to stretch that last line at then end of the night (see what we did there). With a cast that includes Keri Russell, Alden Ehrenreich, O'Shea Jackson Jr., the late great Ray Liotta and directed by Elizabeth Banks will this movie make you jones for a sequel?

Tune in and find out.

Also Scott gives you his hot take on the new Little Mermaid.
