Armando and Mary Daniela met each other in high school as part of the Trinity University Upward Bound program in San Antonio, Texas. They maintained their friendship throughout high school and through college. They started dating at the end of their second year of college in 2010 after Armando gave Mary an ultimatum to either be his girlfriend or not friends at all. They have been inseparable since then.
