He has worked extensively with K-12 schools, taught at the collegiate level, and founded the Rory T. Edwards Group, a platform for empowering leaders and communities.

As President of the New Britain NAACP for 11 years, Dr. Edwards championed youth mentorship, led policy advocacy efforts, and represented Connecticut at the U.S. Congress Summit on Policy-Based Dialogue for African American leaders.

During President Obama's administration, Dr. Edwards' "Once a Man, Twice a Child" Academy earned him the opportunity to collaborate with developers of the My Brother's Keeper initiative. He also played a pivotal role in establishing charter schools across six states, including co-founding the Cross-Cultural Academy of Arts and Technology Charter School in Hartford, CT. His contributions to the nationally recognized Amistad Academy, praised by U.S. Secretary of Education Rod Paige, further reflect his commitment to educational excellence.

A recognized figure in athletics and academia, Dr. Edwards has advised professional athletes and authored several books, including The Man That’s Missing in Me. His current projects focus on racial unity, support systems, and social change, underscoring his enduring dedication to building resilient communities and empowering future leader.

Over the years, he has starred in more than 10 stage productions, numerous web series, short films, feature films, and television shows. Among his standout projects is the film Reindeer Games, which is currently streaming on NBC's Peacock, Amazon Prime, and Tubi, alongside several other films in which he plays a leading role.

His dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed—he has earned eight acting awards and received multiple nominations, solidifying his reputation as a powerhouse performer. Beyond the accolades, Kevin’s ultimate mission is to inspire others to chase their dreams fearlessly, no matter the obstacles or opinions of others. He has also appeared in TV shows such as Our Kind of People and Mr. Mercedes.

In addition to acting, Brent owns Amethyst On Fire TV, a Roku channel and serves as Vice President of English Promotions LLC. Brent’s inspiring journey from homelessness to Hollywood is one to watch and offers great motivation to push forward in life. That same year, her passion for modeling reignited when she was cast in the Summer Daze Fashion Show, where she debuted her copper crystal jewelry line, Dainty Fairy Designs, to great success.

Scouted by Eric Romello of Tailored Model Development, Christina’s career skyrocketed. She has since graced 10+ runways, including New York Fashion Week, and appeared in two magazines, one internationally recognized. In 2025, her designs will be featured in three runway shows, further cementing her reputation as a bold, creative force.

Known for her magnetic presence and community-minded spirit, Christina remains dedicated to uplifting others with kindness and support, leaving an indelible mark wherever she goes.

Antonio Dewar, a 54-year-old entrepreneur and mentor, is a proud father of two daughters and a recent widower. His journey began in business development and finance, but after facing diabetes complications in 2013, spending the entire year in and out of the hospital. he found himself reevaluating his path.

In 2014, after being released by his doctors to go back to work, Antonio briefly worked as a personal assistant, a role that introduced him to the owner of an independent record label in Memphis, Tennessee. Antonio saw this opportunity as God correcting his path to align with his purpose for his life. Starting as the Director of Strategic Sales and Marketing, he showcased his organizational and corporate management skills, organizing an 11-event, three-day weekend that earned him recognition. This experience led to his promotion to Chief Operations Officer.

Antonio’s late wife, Angela, first saw his passion and talent at an event during the 2015 CIAA Tournament, inspiring him to start his own record label. In April 2022, HASS Music LLC was launched, quickly making strides by taking three artists to perform at the A3C Music Festival in Atlanta within six months. The label secured international distribution, reaching 300 retail locations in 147 countries, and expanded to include a modeling agency.

Now operating as The HASS Entertainment Corporation, with an A+ Better Business Bureau rating and nearly 10 years in business, the company includes a record label, talent agency, casting, and production services. In summer 2022, HASS launched Angie TV, a streaming platform unifying all entertainment components under one brand.

HASS Productions’ latest project being brought to life is A Mother’s Love, a gripping TV series on human trafficking, showcasing the lengths a mother will go to save her daughter. Antonio’s nearly decade-long journey reflects resilience, innovation, and a dedication to shaping the entertainment industry.

A guitarist since the age of nine, Dr. Doug Syme has performed in nearly every conceivable type of ensemble throughout a career that has spanned four decades. From solo jazz or classical guitar, duos with innumerable instrumentalists and / or vocalists, rock, blues, jazz, funk, R&B, big band, and musical theater, Dr. Syme has done it all. He is also quite active as a teacher, maintaining an active private teaching studio, serving as the director of jazz studies at the Milwaukee HS of the Arts from 2001-2023 (MHSA), the rhythm section coach for WI state honors jazz ensemble (2020-2022), and was the Wisconsin Music Education Association (WMEA) state chair for jazz education (2014-2018). He is currently adjunct faculty, teaching guitar, at the University of WI Whitewater.
