Matthew Tharakan from the University of Wisconsin-Madison spoke to IISE's Frank Reddy at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, site of the Healthcare Systems Process Improvement Conference 2023. Matthew talks about what he's learned about mentorship and networking at the conference as well as how the pandemic steered him toward healthcare.
