Amaka Ruth Njoku (@thegriefcircle_naija) has created a space for people to be themselves, with grief, so we can feel more whole, enjoy relationships and life, and help others. ~

Amaka lost her mom back in Nigeria while living in Mexico and didn't get to say goodbye, and then had a hard time finding a community anywhere that would welcome and help her understand what she was going through. She created The Grief Circle Naija so others would be able to start that much further ahead. ~

She talks her about her experience, social taboos, finding your tribe, having open conversations, new rituals, self-love, and being with friends and partners who are ready to rock a real life with you. She encourages everyone to take as long as it takes and let it come out however it needs to, and not let anyone stop you or push you feel bad about it. ~
