Well, here we are still on Shadow of Things to Come! Lol! But this is a good one. It’s on prayer, but probably unlike anything you’ve heard like, for example, the word “plea.” We often think of pleading, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth! And the mystery of Ninevah is one of the most astounding stories of God’s compassion in the Bible!
Note: Handout from last week’s is the same for this week. Just go to the prayer section.
In this teaching, Sherri begins to finish (lol) the Shadow of Things to Come by looking at the different elements of a gathering of the ekklesia whether it’s two or 2,000! Each aspect is clearly revealed in the Old Testament and completed in the New Testament. If there’s one thing that will bless your socks off, it’s the part about the testimony!
This is a great revelation! Have you ever heard of The Goel Revenge in the Old Testament? Me neither until I discovered it the other day in my studies. And it is amazing! You won’t believe God’s kindness demonstrated in this ancient process of justice!
Last week we discovered how the High Priest’s garments were a prophetic picture of Jesus Christ. This week, you will be blessed to learn that the tabernacle and temple in the OT is not just a picture of Jesus but also of us! And why is it David’s Tabernacle that God is rebuilding and not Moses’ or Solomon’s temple? You will love the answer!
The Old Testament is full of Jesus Christ, the work He’d complete, and the church age if you have eyes to see. In part one, we will examine the garments of the High Priest and how it’s a picture of Jesus Christ. And then we go into the armor of God and what it REALLY means. This is a teaching that will bless your socks off!
There’s only one type of praise that enthrones God! And if you feel the south winds of testing blowing in your life, you need to learn this praise! God gets bigger and your problems get smaller. This type of praise is the best warfare you can wage! It’s the type of praise that makes Him “fearful in praises.” If you don’t know what that means, watch or listen to this teaching!
Jesus displayed the righteousness of God apart from the Law—faith in Jesus Christ for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the GLORY of God. Righteousness had to be restored so glory could be restored. The phrase “fall short” means “to fail in some measure to attain some state of condition.” Condition’s original meaning was “agreement” or “to say with agreement” Every time we agree with what the enemy says, we step outside of the glory we now possess, but every time you agree with what God says, you stay within the glory. God opinion of you is now your glory! All of this and more is broken down in this latest teaching!
Holiness. What do you think of when you hear that word? In this new series, Sherri digs into what Biblical holiness is. And just that revelation will change your life! Most think of holiness as doing not being. Or principles. But holiness is all about Presence! Learn the truth about holiness minus any religious twist.
Pentecost is one of the greatest days in the history of man. For the first time, God’s precious Holy Spirit came to stay and make His home within born-again believers! In this unique teaching where Sherri attempted to brag on Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit actually made it all about you and how He clothes Himself with you to empower you in your assignment on earth! He is just that good!
It’s amazing Paul’s focus on the last chapter of 2 Thessalonians. His strong admonition to withdraw from individuals doing something very specific makes you think it must be something terrible! And, yet, he focused on something so practical and so needed, it will surprise you!
