On May 25, 2022, David interviewed Suzy Zenouzi from London, Founder of Mojona Ltd. A bespoke  global Marketing and A&R company in the music industry; and more recently, Founder of Dragon Ley Tours, providing holistic healing and well-being through the study of ley lines and earth energy lines.

In 2004 she launched Mojona, which became a bespoke creator and promoter of musical performers, which supported artists such as Kanye West, Jay-Z, John Legend and many  more. On April 29, 2022, David interviewed Adam Kent, business coach and Founder/CEO of Invictus Consulting, an organization dedicated to the success of small to medium sized businesses. Invictus has clients internationally, from Canada, India, Australia, and around the US. Specializing in sales, EQ, leadership training, enhancing organizational culture & behavior.

Born in Japan, Adam’s family moved to Australia when he was 8-years old, and he struggled to find his sense of belonging during his teenage years. Adam caught his first entrepreneurial bug at 9 years old, importing Japanese lollipops and selling them throughout his school in

Sydney. He studied at the Australian College of Applied Psychology in Sydney, which gave him a foundation and understanding of human behavior, and after that, a successful sales career in multiple industries. He later worked with a coach, from whom he learned a lot, and greatly respected, and then transitioned into the world of coaching others.

On April 26, 2022, David interviewed Claudia van Zuiden, Founder and CEO of Solution Ways, a solution focused well-being practice for counselling, personal and business coaching, life-skills and compassionate leadership training. Claudia grew up in Amsterdam, but spent much of her adult life in Scotland before recently re-locating back to the Netherlands.

We talk about Claudia’s approach to coaching, which includes her belief that emotional resilience programs should be taught from a very young age to promote mental health and well-being in times when people are experiencing trauma. Claudia believes that everyone can embody their full potential in all aspects of their lives, and that with the help of the right tools and guidance, life can become more meaningful and purposeful, both personally and professionally.

On April 13, 2022, David interviewed Jack Black, author, coach and leader in the field of personal development and performance improvement. Jack is also the Founder and Course Director of MindStore International Ltd., though which he has coached, among others, world champions in sport, business leaders and entrepreneurs. He has also coached many large corporations, including major banks and vehicle manufacturers.

Originally from Glasgow, Scotland, Jack has also lived in France and currently lives in the south of England. We talk a little about his early life and his career as a social worker in Glasgow. After the death of three people that were close to him within a very short period of time, Jack himself collapsed due to over work, which prompted him to research stress management and personal development, aimed at inspiring people to fulfil their true potential.

On April 19, 2022, David interviewed Mike Montgomery. Mike is better known by his business name and social media handle “Health Unicorn Mike”. Mike held professional positions in marketing and financial advisory services before specializing in the health insurance industry, first for an insurance broker, before establishing himself in his current business in 2020.

Mike describes the various types of insurance available in the United States, both public and private, and also the types of plans available, such as family plans, individual plans and group plans. For many people in the US, health insurance is a key benefit provided by their employer, for which the employee pays a portion. The types of coverage and employee contributions can vary widely from company to company.

For people insured through an employer sponsored plan, the thought of becoming an independent contractor/freelancer and losing healthcare coverage can be intimidating and may prevent people from taking that critical step. Mike explains how coverage can be obtained for everyone, regardless of their employment status.

On April 18, 2022, David interviewed Gabby Rincon, English language teacher in Santiago Chile, and founder of her own company, English Priority.

Originally from Venezuela, after completing her education, Gabby held jobs as a language teacher in high schools, and at university level, before entering the corporate world. After a successful teaching career in more traditional roles, she started her own business, teaching English online, and quickly developed a base of clients that were eager to improve their language skills.

We also talk about Gabby and her husband’s decision to leave Venezuela with their young son, due to the economic climate in their home country, and re-locate to Chile. She tells of the arduous journey that she made by bus with her son through Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador and Peru, before reaching Chile. She quickly resumed her teaching and has successfully established her business in Chile. She currently holds a free online Business English Speaking Club every Saturday.

Gabby sees a tremendous opportunity, not just for language learners, but also for entrepreneurs and freelancers in South America.

On March 30, 2022, David interviewed Anandi Merchant, Engineer, SEO and data analytics expert, and founder of her own company, Anandi Merchant Digital Consultant.

Originally from India, Anandi completed her engineering degree from Mumbai University and came to the United States to pursue a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering. We talk about the differences in culture between India and the United States and the need to attract more women into the field of engineering globally, as they are still under-represented.

Having taken time off from work to raise her family, Anandi decided to re-enter the workforce and while looking for a conventional full-time job, she took a freelance contract to re-design a website, which was the starting point of her business. On February 23, 2022, David interviewed Adam Smith, in Leeds, England. Adam is a Co-Founder of A-Game Consultancy, and an NLP (Neuro Linguistic Processing) Mindset Coach.

In his younger life, Adam struggled at school, and was diagnosed with dyspraxia. Initially, he worked in his father’s plumbing and heating business and transitioned into hospitality, which he enjoyed and where he worked his way up to management roles. Having achieved success in hospitality, Adam hit a period of immense challenge, in which he lost three family members, his partner left him and he lost his job due to poor mental health.

Adam had enrolled in a self-development class, and one focused on how to start a business, and qualified as a life coach. At the end of 2020, Adam approached two friends, one a physiotherapist and one a nutritionist and proposed working together in a partnership with his own skills as a mindset coach and combining their disciplines together for their clients. Within their first month, they had secured 15 clients and have continued to grow successfully since then. A-Game Consultancy focuses on the three pillars of health – Physical Health (movement, posture, exercise), Internal Health (food, diet and nutrition) and Mental Health (routines, habits, internal dialogue)

On February 15, 2022, David interviewed Brad Reed, mindfulness, executive and mental wellness coach, and the founder of his own coaching business, Repurpose-You, based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Brad is originally from London, Ontario, Canada and suffered with severe mental health issues in his teenage years and 20’s. Brad practiced certain modalities to heal his mind and body, appreciating the mind-body connection, integrating mindfulness practices into his life and looking for the most holistic ways to heal. He followed his innermost intuition and decided to travel to Asia, and initially arrived in Bangkok, Thailand, with the intention to travel further to Vietnam and India, but has not yet made it to India.

Brad’s original intent was to teach English in Vietnam, but instead he started working in leadership development. Upon realizing that personal and team well-being was an important issue within management, he developed Repurpose-You to provide the teaching of these concepts to corporations and individuals, allowing them to obtain and optimize emotional fulfillment and mental wellness.

On February 16, 2022, David interviewed Sharon MacLean, in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. Sharon is a communications marketing strategist, founder of WorldGate Media and Co-Founder of Virtual Communication Mastery. Sharon is also an author and publisher and, in the past, worked in mental health.

Communications has been the common thread throughout Sharon’s career, starting out working for Alberta Health. In 1989, Sharon and her late husband started a magazine, Edmontonians, that covered local business and entrepreneurs and the contributions they made to their community.

In the financial market crash of 2008 and the colossal loss of journalism outlets, Sharon managed to sell her media enterprise. The move opened a door of opportunity for her in digital marketing.
