Wheelabrator Technologies, the second largest trash incinerator company in the US, wants to create an ash dump in the Town of Catskill near the Hudson River. Paul Gallay of Riverkeeper and former region 2 EPA Administrator Judith Enck spoke at a news conference on April 15 opposing the project. A community meeting will take place on April 23 at 7 PM at the Catskill Community Center, 344 Main Street.
