Lovonia Mallory has another episode of Drop the Mic with pianist, composer, and award-winning conductor Damien Sneed, who has created a unique musical experience in honor of the 90th birthday of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Entitled “We Shall Overcome: A Musical Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr," the show will feature repertoires from across the African American musical traditions. Joining him will be a band with five vocal soloists that will span musical genres from gospel and spirituals to classical and jazz to soul and rhythm & blues.
