A rally and ride-out will be taking place in Troy on Saturday August 2 to raise awareness around the teens on bicycles, mostly Black and Brown, who have been targeted, stopped, and brutalized by police for "riding without bike lights." "Without Walls," a program of the Center for Disability Services, visited the Sanctuary. The group interviewed each other about the work and hobbies which take up their time, and what they love about their days. This group included Catarina, James, Natalie, Wendy, Deserea, Uriah, Steven, and staff members Joel, Lucy, and Meg.

Iridian Riccobono Lucas of the Columbia County Sanctuary Movement talks with Mark Dunlea of Hudson Mohawk Magazine as to why groups want the NYS Legislature to come back in special session to deal with critical issues such as immigration rights (e.g., New York for All) and shortfalls in programs such as health care due to federal budget cuts.

On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, Willie Terry, a Roaming Labor Correspondent for Hudson Mohawk Magazine Network, attended the 40th Anniversary Celebration of the Center for Law and Justice in Albany, New York. The event included a Day of Service and a cookout. In this labor segment, he interviewed Ta-Seam Murdock, the Executive Director of the Center for Law and Justice, about their 40 years of service in the Albany communities.

The Key of Q is a unique cultural organization in the Hudson Valley, an a cappella chorus of LBGTQ and allied singers who perform in civic and often very cool venues such as Opus 40, a monumental earthenware construction in Saugerties. The group’s mission has gotten more controversial since it was founded in 2016 as the Trump administration has made diversity a sin and gender non conformance undesirable. But chorus leaders Teri Gibson and Keri Jadrovski tell Rosemary Armao that audiences are receiving the group more enthusiastically than ever perhaps in defiance and resistance.
