    Then, Alexis Goldsmith interviews with Dr. Clifford Lau, a chemist leading a citizen air-quality monitoring program near an ethane cracker plastics plant in Pennsylvania.
    Later on, Aileen Javier talks with Angela Kaufman from Saratoga’s Lake View Mobile Home Park about possible retaliation against her by the park’s new owner in response to her advocacy there.
    After that, we re-broadcast an interview by Meghan Marohn with David Borton about his decisions to build a solar home and a solar boat.

  • Monitoring Pollution of Shell Ethane Cracker with Dr. Lau, Part 2
    An ethane cracker is a plastic factory that produces polyethylene from ethane gas. The Shell ethane cracker in Beaver County, Pennsylvania, is set to come online in late 2022. Plastic PSA host Alexis Goldsmith visited the Shell ethane cracker in February, where she met with local scientists who are monitoring pollution from the plant. In this interview, she spoke with Dr. Clifford Lau, a chemist who is heading up a citizen air monitoring project.
