Hugh Latimer lived in the early part of the Reformation and was partially responsible for the Church of England's split from Catholicism. He was also a powerful preacher who ended up being burned at the stake by the vengeful Queen Mary.
This sermon would have been delivered in the 1530's around the middle of his life. He speaks about the armor of God and doing for God what is owed to Him. He also talks about standing up for the things that are spiritually right to stand up for.
