Hello, you’re listening to High Blood Pressure Wellness Lifestyle Podcast with Donna Williams.  Microbiome is not a word I was familiar with or even knew, but if you have not been diagnosed with any health issues or you’re not experiencing any illness you might not be aware of these organisms that is critical in fighting off diseases.  You should also know that within the gut microbiome there are both helpful and potentially harmful microbiota that coexist peacefully in a healthy person. 

Certain diets, or the use of antibiotics or other bacteria destroying medications, can upset the balance, which can impair the microbiome’s functions, opening up the body to disease.

And most importantly I understand the connection between the mind, body, gut, and soul, that’s why we include and recommend natural supplements, embrace integrative holistic practices to help individuals heal from their chronic conditions.

So today we are going to talk about the trillions of microorganisms living in your gut; and hopefully give you a better perspective, on the number of cells that makes up the body itself.
