Welcome back to the Educator Wellness Revolution! We are so happy to be back to start our third season of the podcast!

We decided to focus this first episode of our season on a concept we call human centered leadership. Over the past month, we've been able to work with a few leadership teams in our partner schools. In these sessions, we've explored how narrow definitions of leadership can impede staff wellness, and hurt student progress in the long run. It's also been great to see the ways innovative, human-centered school leaders make huge strides in staff wellness, which creates a trickle down effect for students and families as well.

For this episode, we recorded our conversation live as a full EmpowerEd team. We shared our own stories of human (and not so human) centered leaders, brainstormed our favorite leadership practices, and explored ways to make the whole school system more human-centered in general.
