Today's episode we'll talk with Peter and Andres, the leaders behind Level, a freelance platform connecting leaders with experts that can unlock relationships with potential buyers. On this episode we'll discuss: Peter and Andres's background. How the freelance economy can level the playing field of enterprise sales. How to build deep levels of trust in a freelance environment. Happy New Year! We return with our usual "witty banter", along with some phrases dating back to the early 1900s complements of "Old Matt". This is the first part of a series all January, where we'll be reviewing the top 2022 trends in Future of Work.

In this holiday ep, the Matts take a step back and look at the upcoming year, the challenges we'll face, and the opportunities hidden within. Also, construction moves into Miami Matt's living room.

Jon, the "godfather of freelancing", graces our podcast with his too-modest presence. We talk through the highlights of his most recent global freelancing study, why he got into freelancing in the first place, and what the freelancing platforms of the future need to be successful.

Join us this week as a napping Luca avoids crashing the pod. We discuss recently published freelance stats, US city migration, and debate which is more stable - a full-time job or a freelance career?

Daniel Rodriguez, CMO of Simplr, joins the podcast to discuss how the human cloud (in fact what they call their model!) is helping them disrupt customer experience and the traditional call center. They've even written a book on the subject, Experience is Everything, available now. He also talks about being a finance and marketing person in a world of startups.

A surprise guest joins the pod and imparts wisdom (along with a lot of background noise and destruction). We dissect Web 3 and separate hype from practical applications. And, the future is bright for project-based work.

Andy Murphy joins the podcast to talk about his transition from corporate marketing IT management into a freelancer and business owner, and how that transition allowed him to follow his true passions while being his authentic self.

This week we discuss the impact the infrastructure bill, inflation, and job openings will have on the US economy. We also dive into the metaverse and its implications in government, business, and entertainment.

Gerald Leonard has done it all. Corporate project management, starting his own consulting business, two-time author, jazz musician, and even ministry. He puts us to shame (in a great way). We talk about all of these things through our wide ranging conversation, including how in the future, almost all work will be project-based, and what that means for all of us. Enjoy!
