Scott Murphy is the co-founder of Clover, a Valencia-based e-bike subscription company that owns none of its bikes. In this conversation with Jens Heitland, he explains how renting bikes directly from the manufacturer changes the pace and direction of growth, and how community has done the work a marketing budget would usually do. Scott also shares the persistence and the rejections behind his career, from a teenager applying weekly to a television station in Minneapolis to raising capital for startups in London and Spain.

Edouard Leeuwenburg returns to Human Innovation to update Jens on life after OneFit and the AI sales tool he has built since. The conversation moves through the mechanics of driving change inside a large organization, the psychological cost of stepping out of a high-pressure CEO role, and what it takes to build an AI executive team from a text file and a set of clear boundaries.
