Uncle Peter is an ex-Nazi, expelled from Germany for molesting children, and his ties with General Pinochet - Chile's barbarous dictator - are extensive and terrifying. He is a man with no conscience or fear - and Javier quickly realizes that he may have met his match.

A beautiful woman he met at a party his sister demanded on his going and he struck up a conversation that led to him going to her apartment. Elena told him as they ate pizza about her son Claudio, and was in a cult here Uncle Peter ruled the colony through fear and molested young boys. Claudio was twelve and they made her sign papers to have no contact allowed for four months and she feared for his safety. Javier was an actor and ran a business of manipulating others to do certain things the way his clients wanted, so he calmed her and then called his two friends. He planned to walk in the cult, find Claudio, and walk out, but he never planned on the horror of the demented Uncle Peter.................
