While shopping for groceries, most patrons were wearing masks. Some had masks over their mouth but not nose (why bother). What I noticed, though, bugged me a lot.
While politely keeping a distance, very few people actually made eye contact. People stared at where they were headed and/or at my cart’s front panel. Hello - it’s me, a human.
Social distancing, physical distancing, doesn’t mean dehumanizing.
