Court documents reveal new details in a horrific case out of southwest Baltimore, where two children were found dead inside an apartment and their mother, police say, confessed to the murders.
The charging documents for Jameirra Hall, 28, detail that a neighbor may have unknowingly heard the moments leading up to the deaths of Da'Neria Thomas, 6, and her brother Davin Thomas, 8.
The neighbor told investigators that they heard screaming from who they believe was Da’Neria, saying "Mommy, no," on the evening of August 19 into August 20, 2021.
The children were found dead inside their apartment at the Coventry Homes on August 24, after a maintenance worker was asked to investigate a foul odor coming from the unit.
What started as a routine traffic stop quickly turned into one of the most chilling discoveries in Baltimore County history. Police pulled over 33-year-old Nicole Johnson for speeding and fake tags, but what they found in the trunk of her car left the entire community in shock.
Inside were two decomposing bodies: her niece and nephew, just 11 and 7 years old. This video breaks down the disturbing timeline, the chilling confession, and the unanswered questions surrounding this tragic case.
