About 750 nurses and case workers at Henry Ford Genesys Hospital in Grand Blanc went on strike Labor Day, demanding fair wages, safe staffing ratios, and better conditions. The union overwhelmingly rejected the hospital’s contract offer. Henry Ford Health says the facility remains open with contract staff and that their proposal includes robust pay and benefits.
