What are Fa-la la-la films if not heartwarming and sometimes quirky? This film brings the spirit of that to life as a foster child takes a journey through the dense woods of New Zealand with his caretaker. What unfolds is sheer chaos as the police, child services, and local hunters all look to find and bring them in for a huge misunderstanding. With great light hearted humor that can still touch on serious subjects and develop "real" characters through it is hard but something that is done well in this film. All that can be said is we didn't choose the skux life, the skux life chose us, and we're okay with that in this film.
