The idea of captivating an audience is something that seems easy to some but to truly get people to believe in your words is a whole battle in itself. From the days of silent films to adapting to sound, few have been able to do it as well as Charlie Chaplin. Playing the dictator Hynkel and the barber during an alternate style to WW2 shows a hilarious yet horrifying side to war. In standard Chaplin style, there is definitely slapstick comedy but he's able to evolve it with the times to make a memorable story that everyone should check out if nothing else, for the last few minutes of the film. It really shows that it's not easy trying to be emperor of the world.

Happy new year everyone! today we talk about luck in all the worst ways as we follow Ladybug as he boards a train trying to steal a briefcase of money for his employers. What follows is an insane journey with multiple assassins. This is one of those films to have friends over and watch for a good time. An all-star cast with some good comedy only really has a long runtime as its downfall but even when you have everyone trying to murder you "if you put peace out into the world, you get peace back"

It's that time when we all reflect on what we have done throughout the year and what we can do differently in the next. Before we do that, we decided to reminisce a little with highlights from the year. As always we want to hear not only some of your favorite moments from us but also what moments in movies you loved this year as we take a look back at 2022.

This time of the year is about spreading happiness to your loved ones and hoping to have a good night. Just like in real life movies also tend to have endings that leave us smiling and happy with what we watched. Today we talk about some of our favorite moments that ended happily. Don't you ever wish you could turn back time and change history for the better? Tarantino did it once before and he does it again as Rick, an actor, and his stunt double Cliff try to navigate the new world of cinema when he is being fazed out. An actual hangout film with a western feel, all while kind of being about the Manson murders shouldn't ever work, but it does. A once-in-a-lifetime cast with a hell of a script really makes it worthwhile as a love letter to filmmaking. it really reminds you that your Rick fucking Dalton, and don't you forget it.

History has been forged by war and combat, for the most part when it comes to action movies it's what makes up the majority of the plot. However, some memorable moments in film are just so badass that they stick with you forever. As always we want to hear you tell us some of your favorite moments while we punch and kick our way through combat scenes in film.

Sometimes in life, you need to go with the flow, even if it means needing to deliver ransom money for someone with the same name as you. The Dude just wants to bowl and hang out with his friends Walter and Donny but gets wrapped up in a vast conspiracy. A film that may not have the biggest deeper meaning, is just an enjoyable hangout movie that even when the plot doesn't make sense, it's still a good time. A great film to watch this time of the year and we couldn't ask for anything more when "the dude abides"
