Ground blinds can be a VERY useful tool for us deer hunters at getting close to the deer. Ground blinds are especially good for new hunters, or someone who is trying to take a new hunter hunting. They offer some great advantages when trying to learn how to hunt with being able to get away with a little more movement, be a little more comfortable, and help keep you from the elements. Dylan is talking with Cuz Strickland from Mossy Oak on how to set up ground blinds, and getting some good tips and tricks on how to better our success from a ground blind.

Adapting to shoot in different situations, facing different scenarios, can be difficult. Understanding how to shoot from a tree stand and a ground blind can be hard to understand. Dylan is with Mike Stroff from Savage Outdoors TV to talk through how to shoot in any and all conditions.

Stepping into a deer rich area, you'll see TONS of signs that the deer have been there. So much sign in fact, that some people don't even know they are looking for deer sign, or how to digest the signs that they are seeing. Dylan is with one of his good friends Jake Meyer from Mossy Oak to talk through all of the deer signs that you might find in the woods, and how finding those signs should change the way you hunt.

Figuring out WHERE to hunt, wether you're hunting on a piece of private ground, or tackling the public ground aspect of the hunt, can be one of the most daunting tasks of the hunt. Dylan is with Andrew McKean, and they talk through how to figure out where to hunt, wether you have 20 minutes to decide, or a year of watching a property and observing what the deer are doing.

Matt Ross from the QDMA and Dylan work through WHEN to hunt. The times of the year to hunt, how the time of the year should determine the time of the day we hunt, and what should change in our hunting techniques for the time of the year we are in.

Scent control is one of the biggest factors that plays into the success of us as hunters. Dylan is with Alex Jones from Scent Lok to talk through how to ensure that you're scent free when you head into the field to go hunting. Having a plan and procedure in place to make sure you're scent free is a good idea, and Dylan and Alex talk through there procedures to make sure they are good to go everytime they step into the field!

With anything, we as deer hunters have to dress for success. Understanding how to dress for different situations can be tricky if you've never been placed in those environments. Dylan is with his good friend Jake Meyer from Mossy Oak and they talk through how to dress for different situations, so you can stay longer, and be comfortable as you chase those big trophy bucks this fall!

Every year the deer that we hunt go through a cycle, if we understand that cycle it will make us a better hunter. Matt Ross from QDMA is joining us again to talk through each phase of this cycle. Matt talks through what the deer are experiencing through these phases, and how we as hunters should adapt as they change phases of the cycle.

We as hunters play a vital role in the conservation of the species that we hunt.
