Melanie was stalked by a man she met in a Facebook group for foragers and mushroom hunters.


They chatted and video-called for a year before meeting in person. After the meeting, Melanie saw red flags and ended things. But he wouldn’t take no for an answer and showed up at her job, her house, stole her keys, and even kidnapped her. Melanie called the police multiple times, but even after he was arrested and charged with stalking, he continued to break the restraining order.

229. Young Woman Stalked

Belinda is being stalked by her ex.

Like many women, Belinda attempted to leave her abusive ex several times before finally succeeding. She faced stalking both during and after the relationship.
She obtained a protective order, and when he violated it, he was arrested and pleaded guilty to aggravated stalking. After his release from jail, his first destination was Belinda’s house. Since then, Belinda has learned that he has other felony domestic violence charges and has made terroristic threats against additional victims. She continues to live in fear for her life.

228. Charmful Harmer: Stalking Belinda

The same woman who targeted Carly and Steve, as discussed in our previous episode (226. Stalking A Couple), also stalked our guests on today’s episode with Krista and Tony.

Krista and Tony are being relentlessly stalked by a woman whom Tony had previously dated. Despite the relationship ending, the woman’s behavior has escalated into a campaign of harassment, involving incessant calls, visits, and messages.  She even went as far as seeking relationship advice from Krista, indicating a troubling level of obsession. Her focus has extended to Tony’s workplace and family, bombarding them with persistent communication attempts.  Even with law enforcement intervention, the stalking persists, causing ongoing problems for Krista and Tony.

227. Stalking Again

Carly and Steve are being relentlessly stalked by Steve's former girlfriend.

Following the breakup, Steve's ex resorted to distributing explicit images of him to his entire network, persistently stalking and harassing him and his loved ones, bombarding them with countless calls and messages. When he started dating Carly, the stalker's fixation extended to include her, even going so far as to harass her at her workplace, ultimately leading to her termination. Despite their best efforts, which involved filing numerous police reports, obtaining restraining orders, and enlisting legal assistance, the torment persists unabated. This has resulted in significant financial strain, with mounting debts from legal fees, yet the stalker remains undeterred in their relentless pursuit.

226. Stalking A Couple

Maggie, a beauty influencer, found herself in the clutches of a cyberstalker whose identity remained shrouded in mystery. Following the launch of her online beauty venture, Maggie was inundated with sexually explicit messages and manipulated images of her face inserted into lewd photographs. Despite the stalker's demands for nude photos in exchange for ceasing the harassment, Maggie steadfastly ignored him.
The situation took a darker turn when the stalker created a fake Instagram profile mirroring one of Maggie's friends. He infiltrated her live online beauty show, exposing himself to her unsuspecting followers. Faced with this escalating harassment, Maggie and her husband sought assistance from a Private Detective, transforming into amateur sleuths on a mission to unveil the identity of Maggie's tormentor.
