「瞭若指掌」或「倒背如流」可以這樣用英文表達：

雖然有些人把這句話翻譯成 「國父革命十次失敗，但第十次就成功了。」但是我覺得這個翻譯有失原文的魔幻/奇蹟感。

請各位特別注意，charm 並不是魅力，而是魔力。確切來說，它是一種魔咒（同義字是 spell），請參考這個字典定義：
"[countable] an act or words believed to have magic power" (來源）
