    मक़ाम-ए ख़ास पर अपना मक़ाम पैदा कर
    रह-ए हयात में जीते जी नाम पैदा कर


    तेरी निगाह से पैदा हो रौशनी-ए अमल
    तलाश-ए हक़ में कुछ ऐसा मक़ाम पैदा कर


    रज़ा-ए दोस्त पे मिटने की आर्ज़ू ले कर
    ख़ुलूसमंदी-ए इज्ज़-ए दवाम पैदा कर


    निसार हो तेरी रफ़्तार पर ख़राम-ए सबा
    ब-हर क़दम वो अदा-ए ख़राम पैदा कर


    बुझे हुए से दिलों में जो बिजलीयाँ भर दे
    नफ़स नफ़स में वो सोज़-ए तमाम पैदा कर


    निगार ओ नक़्श निखर आएँ रू-ए फ़ितरत के
    रविश-निगारी-ए हुस्न-ए तमाम पैदा कर


    नज़र शनास-ए रुमूज़-ए हयात होने तक
    अदा-शनासी-ए हर ख़ास ओ आम पैदा कर


    न जाने कौन सी नज़रें नेहाल कर जाएँ
    नज़र नज़र के लिए एहतेराम पैदा कर


    सवाब नाम है जाम-ए मय-ए मोहब्बत का
    मगर शुऊर-ए हलाल ओ हराम पैदा कर

He was a disciple of nasim noormahli, who in turn was a disciple of daaGh dehlavi. He has written exquite Ghazal in chaste urdu and many progressive nazm in chaste urdu as well as in spoken hindi/urdu/hindustani. He was part of a group of friends who organized joint celebrations of one another’s religious festivities to promote communal harmony.

    Reward is served in a cup of the wine of love giving spiritual ecstacy. But still, develop an awareness of what is permissible and forbidden; the ability of distinguish between genuine and fake wine of love – universal love and seclusion.
