Michelle was raised on a family farm in the western Minnesota community of Murdock where her family still farms today. Growing up she learned the value of hard work and personal responsibility. Her work ethic and determined attitude led her to graduate with a B.A. in chemistry from St. Catherine University in Saint Paul and later with an M.B.A from the University of St. Thomas.

Michelle used her education to become a Certified Public Accountant in her professional career. Her background includes audit and consulting work at Deloitte, as well as being the executive director at the Upper Midwest Security Alliance. Her experience as an auditor and accountant has made her excellent at exposing unnecessary waste, fraud, and abuse. Furthermore, her experience has demonstrated a clear ability to be a reliable problem solver.

We have some serious issues to diagnose and treat if we want to be a state that truly thrives again. A pandemic ravaged our most vulnerable populations in congregative care and our Governor took no pinpointed actions to stop it. As our cities burned, our brave and capable State’s National Guard soldiers were forced to sit on the sidelines by our governor. As the science told us we could safely reopen small businesses and schools, our current administration sided against responsible business owners, parents, and children. Our kids were locked out their schools while children in our neighboring states and local private schools attended full time and in person. Within Minneapolis public schools our inequities have grown deeper. Within our schools, political indoctrination seems to be prioritized over real education; our parents are being left out of the equation! And our tax dollars are being wasted on daycare fraud and rampant abuse.

Words from Minnesota Candidate Paul Gazelka   (Real Talk !)

I have had the privilege of living in many parts of Minnesota. I was born in St. Paul and grew up on the Iron Range. I graduated from Roosevelt High School in Virginia, Minnesota, and then I went to the University of Minnesota, Duluth for the first two years of my degree. I finished my business degree at Oral Roberts University in Oklahoma.

I couldn’t wait to get back to Minnesota to start my business career in Madison, a beautiful small town in western Minnesota. After seven years, I was offered a promotion, and we moved to Bemidji. We lived there seven years with our then young family.

For the last 24 years, Maralee and I have lived in the Brainerd Lakes area and that is where we continued raising our children.

Its my pleasure to introduce Jai Hanson, he is running for Sherriff in Hennepin county MN.  This interview of Jai is Honest, forthright and a strait to candor way of thinking !! below is from his website https://www.jai4sheriff.com/ give him a listen because we have asked some tough questions in this one.

People ask me frequently how is the Sheriff’s office different from my local police department.  Traditionally the Sheriff’s office has been responsible for security at the Courts, Jails and responding to any water related incidents.  In addition the Sheriff’s office provides patrol services for Greenfield, Hanover Medicine Lake, Rockford, Hennepin County Home School, county jail, Fort Snelling, 133rd Minnesota Air National Guard, 934th U.S. Air Force Air Wing, and U.S. Marine Corp/Navy Reserves.

Although these have been the traditional tasks, per state statute the sheriff is the highest law enforcement officer in the county in which they serve and are responsible for the safety and security of the entire county.  In other words when any city abdicates their responsibility to keep their citizens safe, then the Sheriff has every right to move in and provide the law enforcement services those citizens deserve.  In addition as these criminals move across city lines throughout the County the sheriff’s office is more nimble and flexible to follow them and arrest them.
