أحمد بن شمسي مدير التواصل والمرافعة بقسم الشرق الأوسط وشمال أفريقيا في هيومن رايتس ووتش. له تجربة طويلة في الصحافة، فقد أسّس وأشرف على نشر وتحرير مجلّتي "تيل كيل" و"نيشان" الأكثر انتشارا في المغرب، وكذلك موقع FreeArabs.com. فاز أحمد بجائزة الاتحاد الأوروبي لأفضل صحفي استقصائي في العالم العربي مرتين، وله منشورات في مجلات Time، Newsweek، The New Republic، Foreign Policy، جرائد The Guardian وLe Monde، وصحف دولية أخرى. شارك في تأليف كتاب “Taking to the streets: The Transformation of Arab Activism” (2014، منشورات جامعة Johns Hopkins). صدرت له مقالات في مؤسسات أكاديمية ومراكز بحث أمريكية، منها National Endowment for Democracy، Middle East Institute، ومعهد Cato. أجريت معه مقابلات ونُقلت عنه اقتباسات منتظمة من قبل وسائل إعلام دولية منها CNN، PBS، NPR، BBC، الجزيرة، New York Times، وغيرها. أحمد حاصل على شهادة للدراسات المعمقة في العلوم السياسية من معهد العلوم السياسية (Sciences Po) بباريس، وماجستير في اقتصاد التنمية من جامعة La Sorbonne، وعلى زمالة في برنامج "الإصلاح والديمقراطية في العالم العربي" بجامعة Stanford. أحمد يتقن العربية والفرنسية والإنجليزية.

Armin Navabi is an Iranian Canadian ex-Muslim atheist and secular activist, author and podcaster. Currently living in Vancouver, British Columbia and Canada. In 2011 he founded the online freethought community Atheist Republic, a Canada-based non-profit organisation which now has hundreds of branches called "consulates" in several countries around the world such as Malaysia, Indonesia, and the Philippines, enabling nonbelievers to interact in societies where irreligion, apostasy and blasphemy are often criminalised and repressed. As an author, he debuted with the book Why There Is No God (2014), and in 2017 he became a co-host of the Secular Jihadists from the Middle East podcast with Ali A. Rizvi, Yasmine Mohammad and Faisal Saeed Al Mutar.[4] In January 2018, the show was renamed Secular Jihadists for a Muslim Enlightenment, with Rizvi and Navabi as co-hosts.
