Well everyone, that is it. Henry is our champion. A convincing win over Joe, who takes silver. Evan over Ethan for 3rd place. Yours truly was able to somehow take home the consolation. Also, a little treat for the listeners: our newly-crowned champion, Henry, along with a classy runner-up, Joe, come onto the pod for a quick interview about their Shaeffer Bowl matchup as well as give parting thoughts on their seasons. 

Well, it's been a great season boys. 2021 Shaeffer Bowl went by in the blink of an eye. It all comes down to this: Joe vs. Henry for all of the glory. Good luck to you both and may the fantasy gods ever be in your favor. Final jottings: we will have a new champion for the 7th consecutive season. Also: Ethan vs. Evan for 3rd place (both had strong seasons, congrats). And finally, me (Ben) vs Tony for the consolation final (both had dogsh*t sesaons, so no congrats are in order). 

Joe, Evan, Ethan, & Henry on to the semis. Only Ethan has ever made it to the finals. Will his experience be instrumental in becoming the league's first two-time winner? Or will Shaeffer Bowl crown a new champion yet again? Only time will tell... get your popcorn ready boys. With a HUGE Evan-Joe rivalry matchup on deck... with a Shaeffer Bowl berth on the line... I can already tell this is gonna be a semi round for the ages

Alright boys the time is here for the playoffs. Shoutout Joe for winning the regular season. Shoutout Ethan for scoring the most points. Noah, Tom, and Tim each picked up big wins this week. Henry stumbled and is now leaving the door cracked for someone else to steal the wild card spot. Week 12 is in the book and Rivalry Week is already upon us. Regular season will be over before we know it. Time flies when you're having fun. It's Ben's big 27th b-day today. He may or may not have recorded this inside of his parked minivan in a dental office parking lot in Waconia. Also Jay's wedding this weekend. Lots of hype for that wedding. All aboard that hype train. Those in town come party on Friday night in NE. Lots going on this week with the EP squad. Lastly, am I still invited to the wedding after handing Jay an L this week? At press time, the answer is yes. 

I'll tap myself on the chest for this one. Got a little too cocky and tried to record on a Monday. Bad move. Tried to drag it out a little to get to the end of MNF. Episode ran a little long. 5 mins after we ended the episode everything changed in the Bears-Steelers game and two matchups flipped lol. Lesson #1 re-learned: don't test the fantasy gods. 

Joe's team got the weekly bonus? The badgers beat Nick's hawkeyes in a critical Big 10 West showdown? The packers just handed the Cards their first loss? His former Eagles took down C**n Rapids in the first round of the state football playoffs? Will Joe's wedding weekend come close to matching the euphoria he must be feeling right now? Wow.
