From one set of starts to another. Star Wars: Shadow Stalker is a one off story featuring a apprentice or mercenary of Darth Vader. Which all sounds great in principle. This should have been a series that with the right amount of time and effort would probably be streaming on Disney+ by now. Since they tend to create things from nothing, this could have been something made from something. I'm getting off topic... I didn't know who the author was prior to recording todays episode... I have to say this is some dynamite storytelling that took me by suprise and overall I really enjoyed the read. Eclipse Comics seems to have a wide variety in their catalogue. So this is a completely new one to me, I learned a lot about these characters and am interested in reading more. Grab Bag Month can be a tricky one, you hit or miss--this as a standalone felt like a miss. This is a man who was trained his entire life to hunt robots... Fighting against a being from another planet who was trained its entire life to hunt humans and other assorted prey. East of the Viking Heroes... Last of the Viking Heroes... I didn't realize until typing this that I said the name of this comic incorrectly the entire show. So I wasn't sure if I should say "Last" or "East" in the title because it may be confusing... So I hope this clears things up. Welcome to a new beginning. We have gone back to our roots in the podcast space and will be talking about comics this year. When I started podcasting ten years ago I hosted the Hero Heads Podcast. We talk about different hereoes each episode and the show later evolved to talking about super hero movies and then transitioned into... just movies. Even though my contract with Spreaker is ending, it doesn't mean I have to quit podcasting all together. It just means I need to change platforms and transfer my show away from Spreaker and iHeart Radio. I understand a lot of people will lost access to the show in the transfer which is why it is important to get this message out to you.
