This week’s journey takes us on ride through the world minimal, with a mix that goes deep while still keeping it light and refreshing. There’s some unexpected twists along the way with some well placed samples, electro space age funk and incredible high peaks. Understated and impactful at the same time, with ‘good vibes’ throughout which keep the party spirit alive.

Moving out of the shadows and back into the light, this week we take a trip down memory lane to when we first introduced this series with music that showcased a lighter, more relaxed side of the electronic spectrum. Whilst the underlying tone of this week’s mix is more melodic and dreamy in nature, there’s still a continuous groove mixed in with the melodic instrumentals that adds an extra layer to the mix, keeping it fresh. There’s also some punchy chords, funky house, and classical undertones that make an appearance every now and again to help you drift away.

Twelve weeks in and the duo keep pushing the boundaries by delivering material that’s unexpected and not bound by any principles. This week we return to the essence of hard-hitting Techno. With a crunchy baseline, elevated bpm and slick interchanges between heavy and melodic, that keeps you on your toes throughout. At its core this is a mix that takes us back to the depths of the Berlin underground scene, bold, unfiltered and raw.

As we head into the 11th week we’re reminded of the unforgettable journey we’ve on so far, with a plethora of styles all neatly crafted into a captivating series. For latest podcast the duo take a more classic approach than in the previous weeks, with an hour long mix that transitions between ambient and minimal to big-room vibrant deep house, with some energetic percussion elements thrown in. This is a mix to be enjoyed outdoors, taking in the sun and letting loose.

There’s something very comforting about this week’s podcast that gives you a feel for the underground scene we’ve all been craving. A colorful mix that's bouncy, punchy and gets you in the zone from the outset. As always the German duo manage to pull from a broad repertoire, be it nu-age disco cleverly blended into groovy balearic house, or quirky instrumentals weaved into spacey beats, the 10th podcast hits all the right notes.

This week’s podcast follows on nicely from last week’s much calmer and toned down vibe. We’re presented with a light mix that takes place in a realm that is futuristic, dreamy and trippy. "After the first seven mixes which were all rather energetic, clubby and clearly focused on a dance vibe, we decided to do a chilled mix for the 8th edition, especially after the somewhat ravy 7th. We did this for some diversity but not in the sense of Ambient / Downbeat Chill Out, but more on a House / Dub Tech vibe, that's deep & dubby while still being forward and psychoactive. I imagined a private, intimate after-hour in a small circle after a great party night, the spirit is still beaming, energy is still there and everyone is pushing the vibes but they still tend to chill out and not dance on the tables.
