What a change of pace for the Nebrasketball Hour crew, as Jack traded in despair tinged with rage lingering from the Iowa loss for a “wildly pleasant afternoon” as Nebraska cruised past Penn State 87-64.

First, the latest on the injury to J-Law and Berke’s situation. Then, with Pryce Sandfort tying the school’s single game three-point shooting record and going for 33, the guys ask, "is he back" or more accurately "was he ever gone?" Perhaps the former question is better applied to Braden Frager, and Kaleb and Jack both lay out what they saw tonight that indicate perhaps he’s gotten over some of the lingering effects of his ankle injury.

Plus, some more important questions:

• At what point in the second half did Penn State have it up to here with Same Hoiberg "trying" so much?
• Did we just figure out exactly the way Jared Garcia should be used?
• Why Rienk Mast still just seems... different?
• What about the Committee’s top 16 was annoying Jack today.
• Why the risk of Nebraska being "caught from behind" in the tourney pecking order may be less than you think.

Nebraska lost to Iowa in what Jack calls one of the worst basketball games he has ever seen. The guys try to determine exactly why the Nebraska offense was fully impotent for much of the night, even when it looked like they found something that worked. The guys explain the brutal truth they learned about this Iowa team and why that makes the loss even harder to swallow. They also take a look at February Rienk Mast vs. November Rienk Mast.
