Continuing on with our discussion in Exodus chapter 3, God instructs Moses to speak to Pharaoh and tell him to let the Israelites go free. Moses asks Him, “Who shall I say sent me?” In other words, “Who has got my back?” Have you ever been asked to do something bigger than you? Moses knew He alone could not deliver millions of people. God was asking Moses to step out on faith. If He would go in and follow the instruction by saying what He was told to say, then God would do what he couldn’t do in his flesh. There is no question about it; faith is scary for us as well. We have to be willing to fall into the arms of trust. We know God can save, heal and deliver. The question we have to answer is, do we truly believe that He is the God who will? Lord, please help me believe that you will. The great I Am sent you, therefore, He will! God says let me be whatever you need. He measures our steps and our stops. God can do anything but fail. He does not know how to do that.
