I am American! My life matters, no matter how dark my skin! My skin, though darker and scorned, is the skin in which I was born. Some may feel that they can chase it, arrest it, curse it, persecute and prosecute it, shoot it or beat it off of me and God knows they try. But I was born with this beautiful protective coating and with it I will most certainly die.
