  • Ramble on
I recorded this on the way back home, through the Mark Twain National Forest, from a ~3 day retreat with my Sheep Dog Fam. It was a great ‘reset’ & I effectively just spent an hour unpacking it all… The TL;DL gist of it: Even if you don’t feel like it, you’re okay. You may need to have some hard conversations with yourself. You may need to hold yourself accountable for something that you don’t realize is your responsibility. That may take some honesty you haven’t been exercising for some time. That’s okay, too. You’re loved, you got time, and I’m here for you. Love you, mean it. Take care of yourself.❤️🙏🏼

  • Ignorance, greed, anger & death
I got real rambly, I think - but it sure helped me articulate for myself. I hope if you give the listen, it ends up making sense for you, too. We’re here for a split second & it’s not supposed to be perpetually miserable. I’m coming into realizations of how I have lived up until now, and why that is. No one’s fault. There’s no good or bad; things just are. To the points to our control, however, I believe the world is as we are. So, if I’m controlling my mind (as only I can), and I choose to be graceful, grateful & kind - then my world will reflect that in time. In that spirit, I choose to seek Knowledge & Truth - to cure my Ignorance; be Gracious & Grateful - I need no more than enough; be Kind & Patient - because everyone is going through something, and anger fixes nothing; be Mindful & Present - because Death is constantly coming for us all. Take good care, because you’re loved. 🙏🏼❤️

  • What’re you talking about?
I’m certainly just as guilty of this as anyone, but it’s a question worth asking yourself, from time to time. If it’s not helping, it’s not helping; ya dig?😉❤️🙏🏼

  • Head & heart
It’s kind of an obvious realization, when you see it; the way we inadvertently shove people in boxes as kids, before they know what they want. At some point as adults, if we’re just struggling to be ‘okay’, it’s worth stopping to think about what you gave up as a kid… Is that where the disconnect happened? What can you do to reconnect you Head & Heart? Happy Monday, Fam. Love ya, mean it. ❤️🙏🏼

  • Fear of electricity
It’s a shame how often we let something we create, stop us from creating. There’s nothing wrong with being fearful; it’s learning how to identify & acknowledge that you are, that is difficult. Take care; you’re loved.❤️🙏🏼

  • Fear, opinions, mistrust & control
It’s astounding how old words can apply to new things.
More so, how we can cause so much work in our own lives & the lives of those were in community with, without even noticing it.
In a time when the word ‘critical’ is tossed around, I urge you to take a critical look at some of your motivations. How close are you to something beautiful, not realizing that it’s your fault for not being able to attain it?
    Take good care & know you’re loved.❤️

  • Patience is an understatement
How often must we learn a lesson, just to forget it?
How many times can we hear the same parable in a different wrapper?
Fact is, if we weren’t so bad at doing what we say, we wouldn’t have so many different versions.
I’m not saying I haven’t been patient; I’m saying it’s gonna take more time than I thought. That feels like a different thing to me. Here’s to the spaces in between. ❤️

  • Controllable anxiety; learn what to let ride
Not to say anxiety is flippantly controllable, at all; just shifting your perspective to the aspects of anxiety that we tend to make worse in ourselves.
    We oughta cut that out…
Take a listen, leave a comment, share with a friend; but DEFINITELY stop and consider some simple ways you can learn to let go.
Promise it’ll do you some good.
    Take care of yourself.❤️

  • Anger
    You’re not really angry.
    I promise.
You might not like what you realize you are, but everyone will be better for your taking the time to acknowledge it.
It’s okay to feel your emotions; just be sure you’re feeling them correctly.
