Leading up to breast cancer month, I wanted to share my good friend's, Katie Simmons, journey with breast cancer. She just recently had her 5 year anniversary since being diagnosed with Stage 3b breast cancer. She is such a warrior with a great attitude. With 3 near death occurrences during her journey, hear how she never lost faith and how she knew she would be CURED.

This week's podcast is with Suzanne Gwynn, the founder of LadyBug House (ladybughouse.org). You will be surprised to hear about the gaps for families and children when it comes to services available for cancer and chronic illnesses. I was inspired to hear about LadyBug Houses mission to help fill some of these gaps.

In this episode I discuss the domain of giving and receiving support. For many of us, it is much easier to give support than to receive it. It was really tough in the beginning to receive the amount of support and love I was getting. Viewing it as a debt that I was worried could't be repaid. As I have traveled through 11 months of my journey, that thought is farthest from my memory now. I get the value of supporting others and others supporting me and the magic that happens in that space. Enjoy episode 8 and God Bless!

My interview with 13 year old Jack Steele diagnosed with T-Cell Leukemia 15 months ago. He is CURED. Hear his journey and his warrior mindset. The highs of meeting his hero Russell Wilson to the lows of radiation, bone marrow transplants and vomiting. In the end he learned how strong he was and what he could endure. Eight months later this warrior is not only curing his cancer with holistic treatment though is a true inspiration to other with his faith and mindset.
