Judi New is a fourth generation Polk Countian born and raised in Lakeland but also raised around Polk County. Her parents are Jack and Jessica B. Mann. She is a graduate of Lakeland High School, Florida Southern College, Duke University, and Louisiana State University. She worked for Rep. Adam H. Putnam, worked as Public Affairs Director for the Lakeland Chamber of Commerce, is an ordained United Methodist Pastor, and currently serves as the Archivist/Historian for the Florida United Methodist Church. Judi is running to be the next Polk County Commissioner for District 1 as a write-in candidate. She has logged 17,000 miles on her car learning and listening.
