This week Krysta and Traci dive into the importance of humility in our conversations and relationship with God, as they study the Book of Colossians.
Our hosts remind us of all the glorious acts Christ has performed out of love for us. They emphasize the incredible gift He has given all of us by dying for our sins – even the people He knew would disagree with Him, not believe in Him, or do wrong by Him. When we take time to reflect on just how amazing that is, we feel the weight of His sacrifices and it is almost impossible to come to Him with anything except humility.
When we remember God's incredible blessings, we remember that we are not enough without Him.
Topics covered in this episode:
What it means to be humble and why it's so important when reading scripture and cultivating a relationship with God
The difference between confidence and arrogance when it comes to approaching conversation with Christ
Choosing God even (and especially) when you are scared (and not just on Sundays)
The power of raising your hands or getting on your knees during prayer
The inherent connection present in the worldwide community of God-loving women
How to restore your excitement for Christ in times of trouble

Verses Mentioned (ESV):
Colossians 2:6 - Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him…
Colossians 2:16 - 19 - Therefore let no one pass judgment on you in questions of food and drink, or with regard to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath. These are a shadow of the things to come, but the substance belongs to Christ. Let no one disqualify you, insisting on asceticism and worship of angels, going on in detail about visions, [a] puffed up without reason by his sensuous mind, and not holding fast to the Head, from whom the whole body, nourished and knit together through its joints and ligaments, grows with a growth that is from God.
James 4:6 - God opposes the proud, but gives grace to the humble.
We encourage you to read all of Colossians chapter 2.

This week we are talking all about prayer on the "I Am Not Enough" Podcast.
Hosts Traci and Krysta share the importance of prayer and how the Lord asks us time and time again to pray to Him. They also give us insights on their own early insecurities with praying out loud and tips to overcome this. Luckily, they remind us, there isn't one right way to pray. All the Lord asks is that we communicate with Him – He doesn't mind if we are articulate or not. Just pray.
Topics covered in this episode:
-How many times the word "prayer" appears in the Bible and its various translations
-The many different ways Jesus asks us to communicate with Him including in verses Thessalonians 1:17 and Ephesians 6:17-18
-How praying before reading the scripture can benefit your understanding of His Word
-The "how, why, and when" of working prayer into your everyday life
-And where to start if you don't know where to start with praying to God
We'd love to hear from you. Submit a prayer or episode topic request to iamnotenough.us and share this episode with one woman you know could benefit from weekly reflections of Christ.

Krysta mentions the book "Praying God's Word: Breaking Free from Spiritual Strongholds" by Beth Moore. This was a helpful tool in teaching her how to pray and to pray powerfully. You can find that on Amazon. Visit our website iamnotenough.us for a direct link.
Verses Mentioned (NIV):
1 Thessalonians 4:17 - After that, we who are still alive and are left will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And so we will be with the Lord forever.
Ephesians 6:17-18 - Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the Lord's people.
Roman 8:26 - In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself intercedes for us through wordless groans.
Psalm 23 - The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name's sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
We encourage you to read all of Mathew chapter 6.

Welcome to the first ever episode of the "I Am Not Enough Podcast!" We are so happy you're here.
In this episode, you'll meet your hosts, sisters-in-law and sister in Christ, Krysta and Traci Wallrauch. They're telling you all about their relationship with each other, with Christ, and with their beloved husbands (who just so happen to be twins!).
Krysta and Traci will also share exactly how and why they felt called by the Lord to start this podcast for everyday women just like them. Together, they hope to invite women who are on their walk with God to engage everyday with His word and feel the glorious support of His presence. You don't have to do this alone and you were never meant to. That's why Krysta and Traci say "I Am Not Enough."
