Have you ever been somewhere when the lights went out and it suddenly became dark? Could you continue doing what you were doing before the lights went out? Oftentimes, we need light to do what we are trying to do. Darkness thwarts our abilities. One of Jesus’ seven “I AM” statements was “I am the light of the world.” What did that mean back then and what does it mean for us today?
