A House of Prayer was written and recorded by Lusu Mwah.
Today marks a total of 7 years since I chose to follow Christ! What a roller coaster it has been! I have struggled with several things, from depression to sexual immorality, to white lies and even disappointment. The list, never ending, but Jesus. God keeps transforming and pruning me as I abide in him so that I bear much fruit. Not through my own strife, lest I boast, but through His Spirit, His word and His own righteousness. In and through Him, I have everything, everlasting things that my mind cannot comprehend. I am so thankful and humbled by all experiences.
I pray my light keeps shining till this vapour vanishes.
A House of Prayer
What Father’s heart is unmoved when His child cries?
What child is unchanged when their father grieves?
Father, I’m hurt again
Are people inherently this evil?
Are we so selfish that we destroy your temple~
Continuously disregarding the breath behind every name
Merely to satisfy our perverted desires?
I, too, participate in this debauchery
Abandoning your temple
Pearls I have thrown to pigs
What is sacred to dogs
They have trampled me
And torn me to pieces
And I have grieved You
Drive out all that buy and sell
Restore me
As I have betrayed you
Make me
A House of Prayer
Turn away from your ways of old
Repent and follow the Lord
This is a House of prayer
Where I bleed love

As always, thank you for listening. I look forward to writing some more, rhyming some more.
It is truly beautiful to be able to walk with God!
Though I fall seven times, I fall into completion.
