In this episode we talked about typecasting! While both of us have experienced typecasting in our own ways, we acknowledge that as white cis women we aren't impacted by typecasting in the same ways as people of color, disabled people, transgender and gender non-conforming people, and our other fellow actors. If you've experienced typecasting in some way, reach out to us on social media–we'd love to talk more about it!

Maya watches and reacts to the Cats movie trailer for the very first time. Then we discuss. Also discussed: two reasons why we're mad we don't live in SoCal, Katie's Moby Dick musical experience, and a little bit of theatre etiquette. We also played a game that may or may not work for a podcast, but we sure as hell tried!

We had a fun little miscellaneous episode talking about dream roles vs. goal roles, playing some weird games we made up, and discussing Riverdale's musical episodes. There might've been more stuff but I don't remember. Listen to find out!

This episode we'll be discussing, as Maya so eloquently puts it, "Local shows by local hoes." We talk with our friend Sean, who has written a musical called "Rita, the Cleaning Lady," which is being performed this weekend, and then Katie and Maya talk about a show they're currently involved in that's coming up, "The Wild Party"!
