I Declare With SASSY

I declare that when destiny comes calling, it will not miss a call on my part.

With five pebbles in hand, facing a great giant 

The young shepherd boy  David did not need a second pebble.

One shot, was all that he needed to take down the giant that had paralysed an entire army.

I declare that when I have the opportunity to make a shot toward destiny,

That I will shoot with all my might .

So thank you Holy Spirit for the spirit of great might and capacity that you have deposited heavily in me.

I declare the Lord himself teaches my hands to war, so that my hands can bend a bow of bronze.

A life on autopilot in a passive mode or distracted fashion  is not my portion 

I declare that  My destiny and inheritance in God is worth fighting for,

May I not be like the King Joash who lackadaisically  made feeble shots when He was to make strong decisive shots symbolising TOTAL  victory  over the enemy.

My victory over the enemy in every category of life mirrors what Jesus did on the cross, it’s a total victory .

Jacob contended to become Israel and so will I.

I  declare that I will not live  in the shadow of what God has said concerning me 

I become it  in Jesus name!

I am Israel, wrestle with God and with man and I PREVAIL 

So help me spirit of the Living God.

So Jacob called the name of the place Peniel: “For I have seen God face to face, and my life is preserved.”

Isaiah 61: 1-4 

"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me,

    because the Lord has anointed me

    to proclaim good news to the poor.

He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted,

    to proclaim freedom for the captives

    and to release from darkness for the prisoners,[a]

2 

to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor

    of the day of vengeance of our God,

to comfort all who mourn,

3 

    and provide for those who grieve in Zion—

to bestow on them a crown of beauty

    instead of ashes,

the oil of joy

    instead of mourning,

and a garment of praise

    instead of a spirit of despair.

They will be called oaks of righteousness,

    a planting of the Lord

    for the display of his splendor.

4 They will rebuild the ancient ruins
    and restore the places long devastated;

I declare that while I may have experienced some grief,I am NOT  my grief.

I will not build a tabernacle in my grief or disappointment  and dwell there forever.

I will not change my name to Mara letting bitterness become what I am referred to and referred by.

I declare that I receive grace to receive the grace of God.

Like Naomi and Ruth ,I receive strength to make my way back to Beth-lehem (The House of Bread).

Even if I may not clearly see it right now, I declare I have a future beyond my grief.

And it’s a future  not shaded in black but in bright and beautiful colors.

I declare that I  turn in my ashes for His glorious beauty 

And my mourning for the oil of joy.

I trade my heavy spirit for the garment of praise 

I embrace God’s plan and provision to make me an oak of righteousness.

An oak of righteousness that is tenacious, resilient and life giving.

I am indeed the planting of the lord and He is glorified in my life.

Who would have ever thought that them that once mourned could become the builders of old ruins and the repairers  of ruined cities.

How marvelous and faithful is  my God.

Amen ,Amen and Amen.

I declare that even if I may have lost something ,

I have not lost everything,

That as the word of God declares , A living dog is better than a dead lion.

As long as my eyes fluttered open this morning and my heart continues to beat ,

I cannot be counted out of the race of life, 

As the seemingly lifeless stump of a tree has the ability to flourish and bring forth sprigs, shoots and seedlings at the scent of water, so do I.

At the scent of  the water of the word and the spirit, I climb out of every hole that I buried myself in,

I can see, I can smell, I can breathe, I can LIVE  and I can conceive for God 

The world makes room for the expression of God I carry,

That which I birth is God ordained ,

That which I birth carries the nature of God 

That which I birth carries the life of  God 

Who says a thing and it comes to pass when the Lord commandeth it not? 

O’Let the weak say I am strong and let the counsel of the Lord God stand 

Call me the widow with the oil who was ready to die after her last meal,

But at the scent of water, life and hope were restored to her.

Call me Ruth who was a young widow going into a nation hostile to her kind 

Yet at the scent of water great favor and restoration found her 

I am in the city of the living God and a beneficiary of the life of God

It is never over until He declares it is over

I  declare that the word of God has free course in my life, that its living , potent ,sharp and double edged nature diligently performs the much needed spiritual surgical operation in my life uprooting anything within  my system infecting and taking life away from me.

I declare that my curiosity and hunger for the truth of  God’s word is insatiable and ever increasing.

I declare that the son of man has a safe place to lay his head in my life .

His thoughts, emotions ,directions and instructions can find in me a home.

Lord I will not be dismissive or disinterested in the thing you teach me.

Perpetually preserve my awe of you and the things you show me in your word.

Teach me to meditate and ruminate on Your Word.

Teach me to apply Your Word in every component of my life 

I declare that I become like Ezra who devoted himself to study the word of God and to teach it to others .

I study to show myself as one approved,one who does not need to be ashamed and correctly handles the word of truth 

I  faithfully declare His Word,

I emphatically practice His Word,

I literally become His Word,

I declare that in my generation, it will never be said that the word of God became rare.

O’Lord,  let  a desperate hunger for Your word envelope this generation.

And may our allegiance and may my allegiance continue to be to the word that is, was and has always been.
