Today's episode involves a lot of personal tension with the subject of racial, ethnic, and cultural identity. Growing up in America as a second-generation Latinx/Hispanic, I have felt a divide between what I see socially and politically in what it means to be either. Today, I look into the history of what those words mean and whether I identify with them or not. There's a lot of repetition of words and phrases, but it's hopefully all to make a point in the end about where I stand with this subject. This could be a continuing series for all I know, but we'll see. Stay tuned.
Comment on my website on the episode's page or email me with your personal stories about identity. I would love to hear what you think and where you're coming from as well.
