Been downtown in the last 48 hours or so? Maybe to the (relatively) famous intersection of Portage and Main, reputed to be one of the coldest, least pedestrian-friendly downtown corners in the developed world? O.K. – cut me some slack and make room for hyperbole. It keeps things interesting. Point is, it’s a well-known intersection. And this week in the Talky Bit, we’ll be exploring another famous intersection (also sometimes chilly), the one where faith and data, or more typically faith and science, meet. It’s long been regarded as a high-collision location, but that’s changing. Interesting? We’ll find out.
Time and Location – Justin’s house in the groovy realm of Wolsley, that bastion of free-range cats and Blundstone-wearing hipsters with high-end children’s strollers. Justin is neither of those, but still pretty great. Parking is on the street. Use the front entry, and plan to take off your shoes. We’ll get started with some music at 10:45 a.m., and go from there. As always, you can find us online here.
The Littles – Kids Table is on! If you haven’t been to Justin’s yet, the space where the kids gather is lovely, bright and welcoming, and Lisa has something cued up just for our young ones.
