"I Drink, Therefore I Am: A Philosopher’s Guide to Wine from De-Vine"

Ancient Greeks and Romans sometimes said “in vino veritas”, meaning "in wine, truth is found". Today wine is more often tied to becoming tipsy, getting muddled, as well as thinking and acting badly. Is there anything true though in the ancient slogan? Is there any link between wine, and truth and faith and ethics; or is all alcohol just addictive poison? It's time we sipped not just from theology on tap but enjoyed a glass - or two - of philosophy from the bottle.
