This is a cartoon of a movie where there are no rules and lives don't matter, welcome Wet Hot American Summer (2001). Starring Michael Showalter, Marguerite Moreau, Paul Rudd, Amy Poehler, Bradley Cooper and Elizabeth Banks. Two reasons we did this film, 1. It has the word Summer in it and 2. Because its funny!

For me, THIS FILM is the juice! AND I've got my head ALL THE WAY UP IT! Jokes aside, this film is awesome and if there was a 6 hour version of Heat (1995) I would watch that and it's pacing would only feel 3 hours long anyways! Starring Al Pacino, Robert De Niro, and a young Val Kilmer!

Finally did it! And honestly I should be put in cinema jail for waiting this long, but I finally watched Jaws (1975) I had good reason for waiting this long! But welcome to July, our summer movie month! Now its and interesting theme this month because while all the films have something to do with summer, it doesn't have to do with summer in the usual way! The completion of Tarantino films is now! This was very meaningful to us because Tarantino is one of our favorite directors and now we can say we watched all of his films! Our third Tarantino installment is a weird one. So back in 2007 he and Robert Rodriguez got together to direct and write a double feature and although we did watch both Grindhouse films and we did talk about Planet Terror, our main focus was on QT's Death Proof (2007)!

Starting off our Tarantino Month strong with his underrated Neo noir film, Jackie Brown (1997). Love it or hate it, this underrated stoner film is a brutal addition to his repertoire! Starring Pam Grier, Samuel L Jackson, Robert De Niro and Michael Keaton!

The Hitchhiker's Guide To The Galaxy (2005) isn't a direct adaptation to the books... or the radio play... or the tv show, however its a ton of fun with a great cast! And what can go wrong by starting the movie with a musical sung by dolphins! WE HAD A FAB TIME REVIEWING THIS FILM!

"A car thief is forced to steal 50 luxury vehicles in one night" sounds like the plot to Fast X, but its actually a Nicholas Cage film from 2000. Gone in 60 Seconds also stars Angelina Jolie and Robert Duvall, Timothy Olyphant is also in this. This is not a film we wanted as 30 year olds in 2022, but it is when we were 14 in 2000.

Which Cameron Diaz movie was your sexual awakening?? For David it was The Mask, but for 6 year old Alain, it was There's Something About Mary (1998) Starring Cameron Diaz, Ben Stiller, and Matt Dillon. There are obvious jokes that didn't hold up in this film, but we still found ourselves laughing our franks and beans off during some parts of it!
