Kicking off our Anderson run with Wes Anderson's Rushmore (1998) A very dense film for an hour and a half long film. You get the quirkiness of Wes Anderson but not at his highest level... Oh and this was also written by Owen Wilson... oh wow!

Episode 100!!! We have a perfect way to celebrate! We Finally Watched... The Shawshank Redemption (1994) David's favorite movie of all time and soon to be one of Alain's favorites too! This Stephen King adaptation is action-packed, heartfelt, and might make you cry. Starring Tim Robbins and Morgan Freeman!

Our 99th episode consists of us going back and forth arguing about the logical or illogical way how someone would handle a psychopath dressing up as his deceased mom and murder you... how would you handle it? Just about a year ago, I Finally Watched... watched and reviewed the original 1978 Halloween, featuring the notorious Michael Myers. Now we are back to talk about Halloween II (1981) Taking off right where the first movie left off, we follow Michael Myers as he tries to hunt down Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) in a hospital... and we spend a lot of time in that hospital! 

Ari Aster has a very unusual way of creating a horror story... that being said, Hereditary (2018) freaked us both out in ways we'd rather not discuss... but we do and you can listen now! Starring Toni Collette, Milly Shapiro, and Alex Wolff.

John Carpenter's The Thing (1982) is about as classic horror movie you can get and what really makes this film stand out is that it's so incredibly hard to follow (purposely so) Such a cool concept for a movie and we had a blast analyzing the hell out of it! 28 Days Later (2002) is an interesting take on zombie films, but we love every twist and turn this film takes! Starring Cillian Murphy, Brendan Gleeson, and Naomie Harris

Continuing our spooky reviews, we hit up a classic within the horror genre with, A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984) Directed and written by THE Wes Craven! We follow a group of kids through dream land as they get massacred and turned into human smoothies by the child serial/slasher killer Fred Krueger!

Does anyone remember the 2007 horror vampire movie, 30 Days of Night?? We do and we loved all the gore that comes along with it! Sure this movie has its flaws, but for a slasher vamp film, this is above par! Starring Josh Hartnett, Melissa George, Danny Huston, and Ben Foster

Starting off our horror/Halloween movie watching and review early with The Exorcist (1973), a classic film that has escaped David's and Alain's eyes till now! Not so much a scary movie as it is disturbing and definitely more than either were expecting.
