I watched as Emily walked through the cafeteria towards me, everyone stopped to look as she passed them. She was so beautiful, I sometimes had to pinch myself to convince myself I wasn’t dreaming that I was dating her.

We had met at school and been together for a couple of years now, she was the perfect girlfriend and I was head over heels in love with her. We were so similar, we even both had the same birthday!

“I’m going to miss you so much Chris” Said Emily.

“Not as much as I’ll miss you.” I replied.

Emily was going on holiday with her parents for two weeks. I didn’t know what I was going to do with myself whilst she was away. We normally spent all of our free time together.

“I wish you didn’t have to go.”

“It’s only two weeks, it will fly by.”

But I didn’t think that way, I felt that the two weeks would seem like two months!
