I Go to Shows in LA

This is episode 20 of I Go to Shows in LA. It was recorded on 4-28-21 and my guest was Barry Sexton. Barry is a musician who plays in multiple projects, primarily in Orange County, California. He also performs all kinds of roles at FTG recording studio/venue.  This was Barry's second time on the podcast so we primarily talked about his experience playing shows this time, rather than shows he's attended as a music fan. Thanks to Barry for hanging out again, it was lots of fun.

Travis is the drummer of AnimalMan and he also has some new musical projects he's involved in. Thanks to Travis for a cool time where I got to learn a lot more about the music he's played and the music he loves.

Garrett has been very involved in the LA and Orange County music scenes and has played in the bands Fugue, Canyons, and Just among others. Thanks to Garrett for joining me and sharing more about his experiences in the music world.

This is episode number 14 of I Go to Shows in LA. It was recorded on 12-17-2019 and my guest was Madeline Doctor. Madeline has played in several bands including The Pantones. She is currently working on a new musical project that hopefully we'll hear from soon.

This is episode number 13 of I Go to Shows in LA. It was recorded on 11-21-2019 and my guest was Mike Trejo. Mike currently has a project called Truce Canyon and also plays in Wavebreaker. He used to play in Dustin and the Explosions and Terra Firma Dinosaur. He is also a huge supporter of the DIY music scene in LA and has helped numerous bands and has volunteered countless hours at places like The Smell and Pehrspace.
